Well, that's that for another year... sort of...

Thanksgiving at Barb's came and went. The food was fabulous, the wine and the laughter never seemed to stop. And now you have today. If you are a non shopper, like me, Black Friday is a day to stay away from the retail stores, although it's a very good time to do your grocery shopping. That's what we did and that will leave us tomorrow to do the cooking for our Thanksgiving on Sunday with The Boy and his SO. Most of the stores were empty, which was lovely. My back was acting up and I actually had to resort to using my cane. Sigh. Yesterday it was fine. Today, not as much.

Tomorrow I told Araceli that I would run the box office so that she could have Thanksgiving with her family - they couldn't manage it until Saturday. That gave me Wednesday afternoon off and that was perfect. when I spoke with her today, she said that we are going into this second weekend with a 95.5% of total capacity sold. We are sold out of all three shows this weekend, so I will not have much to do tomorrow night. I just hope there are no issues.

We are luxuriating in 70 degree weather. We have the house opened, giving it a good airing out for what might well be the last time this year. TBG is downstairs watching a Godzilla marathon and I think I'm going to treat myself (and my back) to a bubble bath.

I hope that everyone who celebrate yesterday had a lovely time without any issues or stress. If this is just a regular weekend for you, I hope that it is fun and relaxing for you! Rock on!
