My world, such as it is...

I saw a cartoon of a cat in a Christmas tree and the caption, "Get a cat, they said. It'll be fun."

Yeah, that's pretty much my life right now. We put the tree up and decorated it Monday night... and Tuesday morning... and Tuesday night... and Wednesday morning... I'm sensing a trend. Patachou got caught in a strand of lights and gave himself a fright. You would think that would be enough to deter him... it isn't. Jenny has been systematically taking every ball she can reach off the tree and Bête Noir is carrying them all over the house. I found one in the upstairs litter box this morning...

Today is our company Christmas party and there is much complaining that spouses aren't invited this year. Then they point out rather nastily that TBG is at the party. Yes, he's our IT guy and donates hundred of free computer support hours to the theatre a year. I think the theatre can spring for $17 for him. Sigh... One of the people complaining the loudest is our newest board member. I told him that if he wanted to pay for her, that would be fine, but he declined. Now who's cheap?

The show is totally sold out and we are sitting at 99.1% It's a relief, but I still feel badly for the four pages of people on the waiting list hoping for tickets, two together and one on an aisle. Yeah, that's not going to happen. I can't believe that it's over on Sunday. Then it's on to the third show of the season, You Can't Take it With You.

Last night we started watching our Christmas favorites, and first out of the gate was X Files - The Ghosts Who Stole Christmas. Heh, what a great episode that was...

Well, I guess the office isn't going to decorate itself... Hope everyone is having a moderately okay and healthy week!
