Happy November!

It doesn't seem quite possible that we have gone this far into the year and yet the calendar doesn't lie.

I hope everyone had a good Halloween/All Soul's/Samhain night. It was very quiet for us. Just two trick or treaters and that was at 7:30. My guess is that the lights, or lack thereof, made the difference. There was nothing to make the place beckon kids in from the street. Oh well, it was just us, the fire, some well embraced rituals and that's enough. Funny how as time goes on, less is more than enough.

So the actors will be eating high on the hog as all the candy comes to the theatre. That's one of the nice things about working here - there are never any leftovers. We will start undecorating, at least the Halloween stuff, this weekend, although I have collected a couple small things already and set them aside. I will be setting up the Dia de Los Muertos altar at lunch and will try to remember to take a photo of it.

Until then, I'm keeping my head low and hoping that the day will go well. At least it's payday and that's always a plus. Here's hoping today treats you all well.
