Oh, look, it's raining

I was so happy when it started raining a few weeks ago... so freaking happy... now I'm just wet. Another big storm blew in last night. We have been lucky to not lose power or have anything come crashing down. Everything is just exploding and I've notice the daytime highs have moved from the 50's to the 60's. All the trees are budding and some have even blossomed. I think it's going to be an early and wet Spring here. Titan admits that it's very nice to watch the storm from inside. I wish I could do more for my outside cats, but at least I know Grey is happy in his little heated cathouse.

Monday was not too bad, although spending the day making telemarketing calls is not my idea of a good time. I got through 2 1/2 pages and thankfully didn't get anyone nasty. I sold a few tickets and admittedly, it was nice to have something to do. I don't think Dennis thought that was enough, but if he doesn't like, I will happily hand him a few pages.

Kevin, my old boss, stopped in yesterday and it was great to see him. Gosh, I miss his silliness and laughter. Dennis has mellowed out, but it's just not the same. Kevin hadn't received his W-2 and asked me about it. Sceona made this big deal out of 'all you have to do' - except there seemed to be a step missing. I never saw his W-2 to my knowledge and I wonder if she even remembered he worked last year. Of course, she inferred that it was my fault for not mailing it out, except, that was the week I was sick. I didn't mail anything out. Yeah, her bad. Thirty eight months... that's all I have left for retirement.

Hope Tuesday treats all of you well. I'm going to go and try to fold my Totoro origami.
