We also went out to Centrale's last night. Love their food, but it's time to change their menu. It still says Fall 2016 and I think we've gotten into a new year. Even so, they have a veggie stuffed red pepper that is to die for. A couple glasses of wine and then we walked across the street to see a show.
That's Show Biz is doing 'Death Trap.' It was a fun evening and we knew everyone on stage and pretty much everyone in the audience. It's a much smaller venue than SCT and you sit at cabaret tables. The chairs are a bit tough on the back, but otherwise it is a comfortable space.
The show was fun, tight and well acted. I thought the director did a good job of playing to each actors/actresses' strength. I had a bit of trouble understanding Matthew, but I wasn't alone. He tends to swallow his words if he isn't careful. All in all, it was a fun evening.
Today it will be chores and grocery shopping - the usual Saturday stuff. I'm hoping for a nice quiet weekend, but we will see. TBG has already invited Jeff to dinner on Sunday, but that's pretty low key.
So that's my world, such as it is.
High point yesterday - the sun came out
Low point yesterday - I stubbed my little toe, the same one I smashed against the bureau last Friday. Damn thing had just stopped hurt, too.
