What a week!

So last night, around 10:30, Jenny had another seizure. It had been nearly eight months since her last one, at least that we know of. It seemed to be much shorter and she came out of it very quickly. The good news is that she was right by my head when it happened and I was able to hold onto her and keep her from bashing into furniture. The bad news is that when it happens, she loses bodily functions, so my side of the bed was covered with drool and urine. So we had to change the bed down to the mattress after getting her situated. She ate an entire can of cat food and then spent the next hour pacing around the place.

We'd just gotten settled in bed when I heard an odd sound. TBG decided it was the cats playing with a piece of cardboard. It kept going on and on - we'd shut Pyewacket in the closet... it was just that sort of night.

Can't say when I fell asleep, but when I woke up, Jenny was curled up by my head as if nothing had happened. It's only the bed clothes in the dryer and the scratches all over my hands and arms that argue that point.

In other news, maju01 asked about a quilt. Here it is. It's made up of 36 eight" squares or two designs, the palm tree and the grass shack. It's entirely hand stitched, which explains why the seams aren't exactly straight.
