Yesterday as we were bringing groceries in, Titan charged out the front door and right into Meanie. He ended up with a bite/claw to his leg and Meanie ended up with a shower when he charged me. It meant nothing to him, but at least the force of the blast made him think about it. Titan, like Patachou, is a bit of a drama queen and hobbled about, allowing us to pander to him. this morning he seems to be doing fine and is back to his usual self. We will keep an eye on it, though, just to be safe.
Got the applique work done on the quilting square. I started quilting last night. This is my favorite part. I can just sort of cruise along while watching TV. We are working our way through 'The Vicar of Dilby' -Dawn French is so freaking funny. Snicker...
Spoke with my sister for a few minutes. We hadn't spoken since January and when her son called (he lives across the street from her and they'd just had dinner together), she said she had to go. Gee, feeling the love... of course, it spared me twenty minutes of listening to how her grandchildren are saving the world while still in grade school, while writing masterpieces and performing to packed houses. Yeah, I didn't mind so much. I've done my duty.
We are heading over to Jeff's tonight for dinner. None of us are practicing Christians, so we're calling it Sunday dinner as opposed to Easter. We are taking Chef's potatoes with us (scalloped potatoes with thyme, bay and lots of garlic). Jeff asked for them especially, so I put them together and baked them while TBG tore apart the house trying to find the top for the Cuisinart. He never did - and it kept him out of the kitchen while I was working. It truly is a time saving device... :P
Whatever you are doing today, I hope that it's lovely and that you have a great time doing it.
And because it's Sunday...
