The car was totally dead… we had to wait sixty minutes for the AAA guy, then his truck was too big to get into the parking structure, so we had to wait another twenty minutes for another truck… only to find out that the battery was fine. The cops had disconnected it so no one would steal the car. Of course, we didn’t have tools (stolen) to reconnect it, so it was just was well.
We got home around 11 and got to bed just before midnight… not that the cats let me sleep, but that’s okay. We were both so over tired last night that it wasn’t funny. It was great to see the cats, though. Only Patachou was a bit stand-offish, but that only lasted until I got the treats out. Then, Hello, Mom! When did you get home? They are out now enjoying their first taste of outside for a while.
I will nap today... after I clean the house, grocery shop (bastards also stole our shopping bags that we have been collecting all around the world), do laundry, unpack... when is the next vacation?
