Thankfully, we were also able to catch the US broadcast of the first episode of Broadchurch and I find myself enjoying it much more that the other two series. That was a surprise, to be sure. of course, David Tennant was lovely as always and that helped.
Got two pillows backed and stuffed. I just have to stitch up the last bit of them and they are ready to head up the hill to the bunkhouse. My dining room is a mess of boxes and bags as we make ready for the trip up the hill
Next weekend we will be heading up to the bunkhouse for the weekend and I'm looking forward to being away for a few days. We will leave Friday morning and come back Sunday afternoon. it will be short, but that's okay. At least the water is on and that's a boon. No electricity, WiFi or cell service, we will be totally off the grid. Yes, is good.
Still no repair on the car window and that's seven kinds of annoying. They hadn't even order the part and I'm not happy. It was a case of he said, she said. Sigh... And the a/c seems to be working again. Cars are not my happy place today.
And what kind of mosquitoes bite you on the feet? Having bites on the arch of your feet and toes is no picnic. Not happy at all about it. You can bet that I will be sure to keep bug spray on my feet from now on.
Otherwise, the guys are fine and we are doing well, aside from being a bit hot.
The second one breaks my heart because Patachou was there, too, but as I walked in with camera, he took off. You can see out little Bete Noir is not little anymore.
