Napoleon and beret

The Friday Five for March 18, 2016

1. Do you consider yourself young, old or middle aged?
2. When you think of your parents at your current age, did you consider them older than dirt?
3. What were you really into when you were a kid?
4. Who was your best friend in elementary school?
5. What do you bring with you everywhere you go?

1. I think of myself as middle aged, unless you ask my brain. It thinks I'm still 17 - silly brain.

2. I'm not quite 60, but it seems to me that my parents were very old by the time they reached my age. The glories of better eating and better medicine.

3. I've been a fangirl for as long as I can remember and I discovered Star Trek when I was six. The (OS)theme song can still make me smile and get a chill.

4. Maureen Spooner. We were inseparable until tenth grade, then I moved to the 'city' and we grew apart as friends often do.

5. My Chapstick. It's always with me.

So on top of a very busy day

I also got to play with our new camera. It's an Olympus Tough camera, good for underwater and as a regular camera. It takes some pretty good shots, too. Too bad the photographer isn't better

These are in the study. You can see one little bit of the room length, floor-to-ceiling book case in it. The roses are the first from the Spring bloom. Sadly Jenny wouldn't hold still for a photo.

Now it's time to practice!
MFU Drive In

Truckin on!

So have they started doing road work where you live yet?

Have you ever seen a pothole large enough to swallow a cow and yet the road works folks can't find it?

Have you ever seem a road patched up and have it be worse than before?

Can you tell I'm just a little annoyed with the conditions of our roads?

bonus: Where you ever a fan of these?
