chef cat

What a bizzarre day

This morning I was sitting in my favorite chair and having breakfast when I caught some movement out of the corner of my eye. It was a skunk. He was ambling across the patio like he owned the joint. Yesterday morning when I was getting into the car, I saw what I thought was a black and white cat sort of scurrying away, except it didn't move right for a cat. I bet it was a skunk. Just what we need.

We have Jeff coming over tonight to talk about our itinerary for London. The menu is puff pasty with feta cheese and caramelized onions, coq au vin with potato gnocchi and broccoli. For dessert, I made bread and butter pudding from a British cookbook that the lovely jkkitty sent me. Had a taste last night and it was great. Add the wine and that should put us in pretty good stead.

Renewals have started coming in and that makes me happy. We are down to dust and cobwebs in our coffers, so this is heartening. Fingers crossed that the renewals continue strong.

And I starts a new Foothills story - yay!

*Hugs* to you all!
Getting to know you

just wondering

If you could be any object in the world, what would you be and why?

Would you rather give bad advice or take bad advice? Give reasons for your answer?

What exactly are you doing to keep your country clean?
