Just when I thought it was safe...

You know the saying, no good deed goes unpunished? When we left for the vet with Illya, we had apparently shut Titan and Jenny outside. Titan was fine, but Jenny had another run-in with Meanie cat and he whupped the tar out of her. I didn’t see her when we got home, but figured she was sleeping somewhere. After about an hour of searching, TBG found her cowering under some bushes. She didn’t seem to be able to stand properly and we thought she’s had another seizure. That when I found blood and headed to the Emergency vet.

After looking her over, he found two puncture wounds on her stomach and clipped the fur from them so that we could keep an eye on them. We ended up with antibiotics for her and a massive bout of guilt. She wanted to lie down, but couldn’t. She was in so much pain that she didn’t even seem to know us. She seems much better this morning. She is eating and using the box, but she’s still moving slowly.

On top of everything else, all the stress I think triggered another bladder infection, but I’m fighting hard against it. And needless to say, her going out days are over.

Misty’s fixing will have to wait for a bit until Jenny is back on her feet because we don’t want to stress her anymore at the moment.

It was not the end of the day I imagined and I feel as if I'm being punished for not paying enough attention to my own cats. Heavy sigh... there are days I really lament from Catholic upbringing.

Just wondering...

Are you a left or right brain person ( For example, a person who is "left-brained" is often said to be more logical, analytical, and objective. A person who is "right-brained" is said to be more intuitive, thoughtful, and subjective. - copped from Very Well)?

How often do you look up the meaning of a word?

Did you ever:

Dance the Twist

Use an Ouija Board

Or owned an ant farm?
