Spock

Saying Good Bye is hard.

Two more kittens have found forever homes. The little girls will be by tomorrow to decide upon their furry friends. The gentleman who called had been to the benefit performance we did of 'Hair' so I know he's the caring sort. Not sure which ones will go, but I know it will be bitter sweet. Minnie, I'm sure, will be beside herself. She's better, but she still goes off looking for Fox. I wish we could find her a home first, but I don't suspect that will happen.

Went to see 'Hair' last night (excused myself for the nude scene as I have to work with these people). Ashlyn, who played our leads in "Addams Family" and "Mamma Mia" last season, dislocated her shoulder Thursday and yet gave a stunning performance, despite having an arm in a sling. Take about being a trouper! Perhaps, may I say, a Super Trouper. Sorry, couldn't resist.

Hope everyone has a brilliant weekend. I'm gonna go find more coffee now...

Good night

Cheshire Road by Moonlight- England, (1883)- John Atkinson Grimshaw.

John Atkinson Grimshaw was an English Victorian-era artist, a “remarkable and imaginative painter” known for his city night-scenes and landscapes.

In the 1880s, Grimshaw maintained a London studio in Chelsea, not far from the studio of artist James Abbott McNeill Whistler. After visiting Grimshaw, Whistler remarked that:
“I considered myself the inventor of Nocturnes until I saw Grimmy’s moonlit pictures.”
