minion whaaa?

Well, that's... okay, I guess

I sent Araceli an e mail yesterday saying that I was going into the office as usual and asked if she wanted me to do backups. She told me that she was coming in this morning to do payroll and no one was not to come in at all, according to Dominee. She would let everyone know when the checks were ready. It's not like I had anything to do there, but it's just sort of weird knowing that I can't. At least I brought some stuff home to work on.

Found the garlic at our favorite Asian Market. They were pleased and surprised to see us. Apparently, their Caucasian clientele have abandoned them. Anyhow, we got the garlic, some ice cream treats, because heaven forbid TBG should run out of ice cream. Also picked up another papaya for a recipe, shampoo, conditioner and hair color, so that's done.

The weather this weekend was sunny and warm in the afternoons, but chilly/cloudy in the morning... now it's just cloudy. For the next three days we will be overcast and rainy. Sure hope they fixed the roof, although we aren't supposed to get much out of this storm. Of course, that's what they said about the last one...

Barb is a little stir crazy, but otherwise is okay. I suspect we will be seeing her soon. She is the most social of all of our friends and being home is really a struggle for her. Jeff, on the other hand, is doing quite well. His doctor, right after she called him to stay in, came down with something. It wasn't CV, but she was tested and placed in isolation in the guest room of her house (it's 1,000 square feet - the guest room is as big as our downstairs - complete with a fireplace and a kitchenette) while she awaited the results. She only had a cold and has been freed from her confinement.

My kitchen has pretty much been cleaned from top to bottom. TBG helped me with the tippy-top shelves yesterday. I dug through my quilting material and have my next project lined up. AND I finished off the little gecko sampler I was working on. Yesterday was a good day. Hopefully, today will follow suit...

Stay safe out there!

Just wondering

So I was watching an old favoite today, Night at the Museum

Would you want to work at a museum where all the displays came to life at night?

Which wing would be your favorite?

Whom would you like to chat with and get to know better as a historical figure? And who would you NEVER want to meet?
