I was chatting back a while ago about cookbooks and these are two of the most interesting book I've come across. I inherited them from a bibliophile friend of mine. She passed away from the Big C and had asked her daughter to give me first pick of her cookbooks. I picked these in memory of her - fun, flamboyant and a lover of life.
I am going to try and post one from each book.

I have made both of these and had more success with the soup than the tarts, but my problem is that I'm rubbish with crust.
