This wasn't the best or the worst week. Work had been okay. We are nearly up to 70% of seats sold for the run of the show and that was my goal. That means that it's done the best of any comedy we've done in the past five years. Not bad at all. I wish we would do the same with Dead Man's Cell Phone, but I don't see that happening.
Tomorrow Barb and Jeff return from their three weeks in India. I can't want to hear and see all that they experienced. I bet they have stories like you can believe. Sadly we have a show tomorrow night (Jersey Boys) or we would be waiting for them. Guess we will have to wait until Saturday to touch base with them.
Next weekend we are head down to Muir Beach to the Pelican Inn for an early Valentine's Day. TBG wanted to spend some time exploring the area, so we are going down a day early. I'm quite looking forward to it despite the less-than-happy moments I had last year with it. At least we had a bigger room this time. Hopefully it will have Wifi or I'll still have to go down into the sitting room to work on the computer. We will see. We'll have dinner by ourselves the first night, then The Boy and his SO will join us for dinner at the Inn and the next night, we will join them in SF for a restaurant of their choice. It will be nice to see them again and hear what he has been up to (even though I won't understand a word of it).
We have a sunny, fog free morning (it couldn't have been yesterday!). They are calling for highs in the 70's this weekend. I have a feeling Spring is here. Shame as we are only at 30% of normal for our snowfall. Sigh, hello water restrictions, my old friend.
Here's hoping that the week has been kind to you and let's all have a fun weekend, shall we?
