At least it was pay day yesterday and that meant I could deposit my check this morning (and added bonus, I got my mileage check, too). Except that it's Tuesday, which meant to ATM didn't want to accept them. I had to use another one. No idea what was wrong with the other machine.
As I was leaving last night, Araceli got an email. "Hey, Charlie, your favorite person is going to be in the office all day tomorrow." Yay, Ava the magpie, has decided to descend upon us again. I must find my ear plugs.
It is very cold (for us) this morning, down to 39 because the cloud cover we were supposed to have didn't stick around. I'm hoping the orchids did okay. I have blossom stalks on them and I worry, but the nightly forecast was well above 40 degrees this week. Sigh.
At least it only rained here. Some parts of Sacramento got snow. W got nearly half an inch, which is huge for us. There's another storm moving in Wednesday night and sticking around through Saturday. I can only hope that is really the case. We can use all we can get. Today, it will be sunny and chilly.
I did learn yesterday that we had just as much trouble with 'modern' plays in the 80's as we do with them now. While going through some SCT documents, I found a letter outlining, 'what we needed to do to stop bleeding money or else the theatre is going to close' dated 1987. It's nice to know some things never change.
On a side note, have you noticed how many of the top 25 LJ posts are Japanese centered, either for bands merchandise, or shows or whatnot? Not that there's anything wrong. I just didn't realize the Japanese presence here.
