The computer install was broken from the moment he walked into the office. He knew nothing about dealing with domains or servers. The prior computer company had password protected everything seven ways of Sunday and they weren't in a sharing mood. We should have gone with them because they have dealt with us for years. We know them and, better, they know us. Jerome from The geek Squad was so far over his head, it wasn't funny. Without going through all the details, we now have no functioning computers in our office. The good news is that we are between shows, so there won't be that many calls today, but I have a feeling that Araceli is going to frustrated as I am. A full 98% of my work is on the computer... no computer, no work. Thank you very much, Dennis, for not listening to TBG and going with a cheaper bid. He's finding out now that sometimes that's not the best route to take. And despite being able to say, I told you so, I'm not getting any satisfaction out of it. At least I will have the tablet today.
Came home to the aroma of pee and saw Pye squatting on a pee mat. This is great, but I can't help but wonder if this means her infection has come back. I was on hold for nearly 15 minutes before someone came back to tell me that they would need to see her in person... um purrson. Whee... And TBG always makes me feel like it's my fault for some reason. He doesn't really do anything, it's just my good old Catholic guilt kicking in. Sigh...
Then I was getting a load out of the dryer and pulled a muscle in my back. Never good, so I'm dealing with that today. That was the final straw and I had a mini-melt down. I think the meds have finally kicked in, so I'm hoping work won't be too painful.
I ended up reheating the leftovers from the party (we had potatoes and two roulades left) and I made crab cakes with the rest of the crab. TBG put My Neighbor Totoro on for me and I went to bed in a much better frame of mind.
Here's hoping Tuesday is a friend to us all today.
