What's this? What's this?

For Jack it was snow. For us, it's rain... it rarely rains in Stockton in May and this morning we have had not just rain, but a thundershower to boot. It was coming down hard enough to warrant pulling the seedlings back from the railing to protect them. It sent the outside cats scurrying and it's trying to send me back to bed. *yawn* I am dubious about our chances for dining out on Mezzo's patio tonight.

Last night, Bête Noir did something I'd only seen pictures of. She wanted to see over the plants that line the edge of the patio, so she stood up on her hind feet. Not momentarily, but actually upright and steady for at least twenty seconds. It was the strangest thing I've ever seen. She does this when you pet her, but I'd never seen her do it for this reason. Silly kitty!

Week one of the new computers is behind us and we might just survive. There are still glitches and the mystery of finding things, but it seems to be doing okay.

We survived the Mayor's state of Stockton party without any damage and even introduced the theatre to some of the 'rich and famous' who didn't even know we existed. Let's hope that equates to ticket sales. Of course, they haven't paid us for anything yet...

It seems like there is tons of stuff to remember, but I'm not - yay, getting older. I hope that everyone who has fun fun plans for the weekend enjoys them. Me, I'm going back to bed...

Be safe out there!
