They were seriously not happy and I am going to have to reconsider doing this again. They had to sedate them to groom them. That meant terrified groggy cats when we got home. It was hours before they would let me near them. I felt a right Judas, even though I know it was for their own goods. That lasted until bed time when Bête Noir came up to cuddle. Then Patachou and I felt forgiven. This morning they are both back to normal and acting like nothing happened. They were so scared, though. They weren't this bad the last time.
So I get to work about an hour late and seemed to play catch up the rest of the day. There were checks to take around for signatures and then Araceli decided she wanted to take us out to lunch for all the work TBG did for the theatre. Worked for me, but our usual speedy Mexican restaurant wasn't and we got back a little late. In between there were calls, letters to write and mail, little projects and whatnot. We are working on a fundraiser that will be at the Haggin next month and then Dennis decided he wanted me to contact all the Flex ticket holders and remind them that this is their last show. Sigh... This doesn't bode well for Tuesday...
Happily the night went a little better. I was making stuff pork chops and didn't have my usual apple, so I used a pear instead, along with red onion and blue cheese. Oh yeah! Cooked up so fresh green beans and made latkes. Araceli brought us some empanadas, so we enjoyed them for dessert.
Bedtime brought strange dreams, but at least I did sleep. Hopefully everyone here survived Monday and was able to rest up last night! On to Tuesday!
