Well, that's neat...

If all goes well and according to plan, when I retire next year, the combination of my retirement plans and social security will actually be paying me more monthly than I am making now. That's just a little jacked... and a total load off my mind. That's making retirement all that much more enticing!

Yesterday, I bit the bullet and called a new dentist. I really liked my old dentist, but he retired and the guy who bought the practice decided to opt out of my benefits plan. I needed to get on who was part of my network. Sigh... I hope I picked well.

I also made an appointment for my blood work. I hate making it before work, but that's the best I could do. It's fasting and I'm not waiting until 9 on a day off to go in as opposed to 7 on a work day. I'll just be a little late. I'm just hoping I can do both the one that my NP requested along with the one my orthopedic surgeon wanted. I might be too late for his, since it was December.

The rain has stopped for the moment, but we are still experiencing high winds. For anyone struggling with winter, this is a recent shot from Tahoe.

Yeah, it's a pretty wet year...
