Bête Noir had yet another UTI, the poor little thing. I started her on her medication last night and she seems more comfortable this morning. At least she's not peeing every five minutes now. I reordered her UTI med from Amazon. It's Homeo pet Feline UTI and both she and Pye love it and it seems to really work well for them.
We did our taxes yesterday and *yay* we don't have to pay. The refunds weren't as much as in the past, but that's okay by me. It is just a relief to not have to pay.
I picked up the bias tape for trimming my latest quilting project and hope to get that finished up this morning (pictures to follow). There's also repapering the shoji, which probably won't be too hard if we can keep the cats from helping. Those are my tasks for today. Yesterday was grocery shopping and running around.
Had a nice roast for dinner. We use my m-i-l's method. You rub the surface of the roast with Lipton (or a similar brand) onion soup mix (dry) and then 'frost' it with a can of cream of mushroom soup (I think the recipe in from Betty Crocker). I also add various root vegetables to the roasting pan and then roast it for 23 minutes per pound. It hasn't failed me yet. It was delicious and we have enough for another meal.
Today it's going to be chicken tortilla soup, a fast favorite, so I don't have a mess of cooking ahead of me - more reasons to work on the previously mentioned projects. I wonder if I will. :P
Have a lovely Sunday, my friends. I hope whatever you end up doing, it is fun and productive!
