Finally a minute to breathe

It hasn't even been that busy a day, but somehow it seems to have zipped by just the same.

Last night went well. I barely remembered to snap a photo. Sorry that the plate is a little messy.

The sauce was a bit grainier than I would have liked. I'm not sure how the fix that. I will have to make it again with a different brand of parmesan cheese.

All was well and we dragged ourselves to bed, only to be awoken at one by a horrible skunk attack. I jumped up and closed the window, then opened to door to the house and turned on the fan. I was just about to get back in bed when we heard this terrible thumping. It was so creepy... it was as if someone was pounded to get in... it was the fan hitting the wall. Sigh...

We got that fixed and them the smoke detector decided it was time to change its batteries. Finally after about twenty minutes, TBG gave up the battle, took it down and took the batteries out of it. Happily there was no fire.

I got back to sleep around three to get up at four... yeah, I'm dragging today. thank the stars it's just hamburger and fries for tonight. I'm ready to collapse and just take it easy.

Jenny seems to be doing better and better. She is sporting a scratched nose - no clue who did it.

And they measured the snow in the mountains. It is currently 167% above normal with more snow to come. They are supposed to pick up another three feet tonight and tomorrow. There are several resorts announcing that there will be skiing until August now. Crazy, crazy...

Hope everyone had a great day and is looking forward to a fun weekend.
