We had a nice relaxing day. We swam and were the only ones in the pool, then we relaxed in the room and went out to have lunch at a Mexican place we found on our last vacation here. It was great. Next door was a Mexican bakery and we bought some tres leche Napoleons for dessert.
Then we came back to the room for a nap and I read. Around three, we headed out to shop for dinner (Italian meat pockets with pasta, Caesar salad, Capris bruschetta as an app and then our dessert). It went together easily enough and everyone got home early - Wendy was home by four, so we had a great time just chatting with her. What a nice young lady she has become. She showed us a Youtube on Victorian cooking. I'd seen it before, but we went along as it seemed to really please her.
Afterwards we finished Up From Poppy Hill and then headed back to the hotel. We were all tired, us from all the swimming we did and them from their work week. Rose could not stay awake. It's funny to see that they have pretty much paralleled us in that they come home and eat, watch a movie, and go to bed. Like us, they are real party animals. I suspect our wild running around days are behind us.
And, of course, there are photos...
