For the comfort, safety and security of all patrons, Broadway Sacramento will begin searching all bags of patrons entering Community Center Theater, including purses and other small bags.
PLEASE NOTE: The implementation of bag searches may cause delays when entering the Community Center Theater for your performance of Disney’s Aladdin. Please arrive early so you don’t miss any of the performance.
There will be separate lines for patrons without bags—and those lines will likely move more quickly—so unless a bag is necessary, you may want to consider not carrying a bag to the performance.
Patrons found in possession of prohibited items will be asked to remove the items from the theatre. Items prohibited from the theatre include the following:
• Weapons: No firearms or weapons of any kind will be allowed in the theatre.
• Outside food/beverages
• Bags larger than 16”x16”x8”
• Cameras: No flash/professional photography, tripods or monopods, Gopros or selfie sticks.
• Audio/video recording devices
We have never had a bag search in the history of the theatre. What the hell, Disney? Are you afraid someone is going to steal a performer and stuff it into their backpack (and for the record, I've never seen a backpack at a performance of any show we've been to. I mean, really? We don't even have that at the movies. Talk about driving people away.
