Greetings from the Monkey House.

Okay, so I knew that today had potential when I hit all the traffic lights green both directions from taking TBG to work. That had never happened before.

On Saturday, we stopped by CVS to pickup my anti-inflammatory. Just like every time else, Express RXs threw a roadblock up and refused to pay for it saying that my workers comp case had been cancelled. Um, no, it hasn't. I've got on going medical with it. So today I called my adjuster and she agree that it hadn't been and that Express RX had no say in the matter. Hopefully, it will be all taken care of this afternoon, but I'm going to be sure to go over while my adjuster is still working.

Had a great swim in Jeff's pool last night. The water was perfect, a warm 83 and it was just what my aching joints needed. We swam for nearly two hours, then had drinks and apps on his patio, followed by dinner (cold pea soup and a nice crusty rosemary sourdough bread). It seemed weird to be there without Jeff, but it was still lovely of him to let us have access to his pool. It was a great relief from the heat and a nice end to the weekend.

Today is supposed to be really warm, but we have a thick cloud cover that's keeping the temperatures down. I'm not hating that at all. This is going to be a busy week, between getting everything ready for the Speakeasy on Saturday night, getting everything ready for the bunkhouse next week. We won't know if that's a go until Thursday, but with as warm as it is, I'm sure it will happen.

The other thing happening this week is that we are getting the first of three sheds for outback and Dennis has decided that it should hold props. I'm to go through and organize them as then come over this week. Here's hoping it goes as smoothly as they assure me it will go.

Have a great week, everyone. It'll be over before we know it.
