What a night!

The Speakeasy was a huge success and everyone seemed to really have a good time. We had everything ready to go at 10:30 on the dot and had to kick everyone out at midnight. They were all seemingly willing to hang out for another hour or so. We made over $1,100, so I am a happy puppy. Several folks dressed, there was dancing, singing, it was great fun.

Macaroni Grill really out did themselves and I was amazing that the deep fried macaroni and cheese bite were the hit of the evening. We also had stuffed mushrooms, grilled Brussels Sprouts, bread and chocolate cake bites. The only thing we had left over was the bread!

We got home at 12:30, but I didn’t get to sleep before 1:30 because I was too wound up. When I finally got up at nearly six (OMG!), the cats were all very happy to see me. I'd put food down last night, but they wanted treats and to go out. Now I have five empty plates, along with an empty coffee cup - how did THAT happen?

Thank the Powers That Be that we don’t have to drive to the bunkhouse today. I would not have made it.

As promised, there are photos:

Some guests all dressed up and ready to party

Some of our actors for the show.  The guy in the light green is the director.  My boss is the short blond with the vest.

Our bartender and shop foreman, CJ - it was also his birthday. He's holding a pitcher of Demon Rum (named after a song in the show).

More guests and actors mingling

TBG is the guy in white!

One of the winning outfits. Those are his grandfather's knickers!
