Well, that's done and just in time.

Yesterday the lights went up. TBG was working on them when I came home for lunch and after a very yummy turkey sandwich, salad and fruit, we worked on them some more. By the time I got home, there was just one strand left to put up, so I helped with that in between working on dinner. The front looks very festive now and I'd take a photo, but it's pouring. Despite it drying up every where else, the forecast for us today is 100% rain... so much for the ornaments. Oh well, that's fine and tomorrow we are supposedly dry. We will see.

Work had gotten interesting and I'm not sure what's going to happen, but there's a new law on the books that has the potential of making Araceli's life as business manager total hell. So, so glad they didn't offer me that position. Also Val was complaining that she didn't get vacation time as she is part time. However, Araceli and I both do and we are also part time. I was full time when I was hired and then they cut my hours to save money, but left my vacation and sick leave alone as compensation.I've told TBG if they take my vacation and sick leave away, I might be retiring before August. I'd probably stay to May which is when we have our cruise, but after that who knows? If they increase my hours, that's okay, too. Either way, I have a plan and I am refusing to stress about it because at this point, I really don't care.

Stay safe and warm, everyone!
