Week three of vacation for TBG and he's pretty much taken care of everything around the house. He's taken care of most of the holiday stuff around the house. Speaking of such, here are some photos of our lights. I'm not as excited about it as I was in years prior.
This is a pine tree that I got a few years ago as a tiny predecorated tree for your desk. It's nearly four feet high now.
The walk way to our front door
The cedar tree with its lights.
A better shot during the day with the ornaments.
The rest of the week has been a mish mash of stuff. The board meeting happened and nothing too much had changed. In fact, they gave me three more sick days. Figures, the last year I'm working and now this. Best of all, no change to my vacation or hours.
I have a small project at work that should keep me pretty busy and that's exciting. I'm off from the Dec. 19th to the 6th of January. I'm so ready I can taste it. Not sure about the 19th as we have our office Christmas party and we'll have most of the afternoon off anyhow. Do I want to burn a vacation day or not. Can't decide.
The Boy is coming home this weekend to see the show. I know he is not going to be happy about the changes made to his set, but it was necessary due to time constraints and the like. I'm sure we will hear all about it at dinner tonight.
Other than that, things are as they usually here. I could do with a bit more sun today, but here's hoping. So far we've gotten four inches of rain this year, well ahead of our usual 3.25. I'm enjoying the rain, but I do miss the sun.
here's hoping everyone is having a bright sunny day. Be careful out there while decking your halls.
