Hello, Saturday!

Made it through my blood draw and I don't even have a bruise to show for it. I love the place I go. It's clean, fast and the folks there are a hoot. It's more of a fun experience than a burden. Best of al, they open early so there's not a long wait for coffee. And that's over for the year.

Yesterday I was motived by xina_gee and did some work in the garden. I can only manage about thirty minutes before the back calls it quits, but it looks much better for my efforts. I did some trimming and a lot of raking of dead leaves and stuff. Our daffodils are starting to come up. I tried to warn them. Anyhow, things look to be in good shape.

There was a massive cat fight yesterday at the back of my car. I have a feeling it was between Ringtail and someone else. I haven't seen him for a couple of feedings and I wish I knew where to look for him. If he's badly hurt, I'd like to take him to the vet, but I have no idea where he gets to. He's not a young cat and he's fixed, so I'm not sure. Fingers crossed, but the fur was tan and he's my only tan cat.

Last night we had a good meal at Rosewood, but I was a bit saddened that the menu hadn't changed all that much. I had the vodka pasta, TBG had Waygu steak, and Barb and Jeff both had salmon. For some reason, the table seemed very subdued r maybe it was just me. I was very tired and my legs started acting up. By the time I got home, they were not happy. thankfully, this morning they are fine.

Today will be a mix of shopping and taking it easy. Our rain came and went early, so the rest of the day should be good. I hope that everyone here has an equally lovely Saturday!
