TBG wanted breakfast burritos and I had some leftover linguica, so I sautéed up some onions and peppers, added eggs and we have burritos. After breakfast, I pulled stuff together and made a couple loaves of bread.
While that was rising, I made some custard, took the rest of the bread and butter pudding, chopped it up, put it in a smaller pan and poured the custard all over it. Finally, enough custard. Since the oven was hot, I took advantage of that and put the chicken in to roast with the pudding.
I moved the dough to loaf pans and let it rise again. The pudding came out and the loaves went in to bake. with the chicken. Everything came out about the same time.
It was time to chop up some vegetables and I let them come of a boil while I was cleaned the chicken off the bones, then tossed the caress skin and all the juices into the pot. It's nice to have some fresh broth on hand again.
That was all before lunch. Lunch were single crust chicken pot pies. Now the dishes are done, put
away and I'm ready for the next challenge - asparagus and leek soup! :D
Perhaps now I will go work on my quilting project and relax a little. For some reason, I'm a little tired... :P
