Okay, can we be done now?

Skies are a bit less smoky here. We have gone from hazardous to fair. The skies are still yellow with smoke, though. However, there are more sounds outside today, with the guys working on the road and people mowing. It's back to normal out there. We are opting for another in day until we hear what they have to say at noon. By then our winds should be kicking up, hopefully shifting some of this somewhere else. My apologies to anyone east of us. I understand the smoke has reached as far as Colorado. It's very cool here, but the windows remain closed.

My day started with stepping on something wet. It was a bit of cat barf. I cleaned it and my foot up. Downstairs I discovered ants have found my inside cat food - not cool. My guys were beside themselves. I cleaned up the ants and fed my poor starving cats. I have a good/pet safe spray that took care of the problem and went on my way. Sadly, that didn't reduce the residual itching and the feeling that ants were crawling all over me.

When TBG got up, he said, "Oh, yeah I stepped in something last night." Did he think to wipe his foot off before getting into bed? Of course not... so I added changing the sheets and doing laundry to my morning.

After breakfast, I decided to take a quick shower and took off my clothes, leaving them in a pile by the bathroom door. apparently one of the cats decided they looked like a litter box and wee'd all over them... sigh... next load of laundry.

Go ahead, ask me how my day is - I dare you!
