Mostly this week has gone by with a whisper instead of a bang. I'm writing along on all the Halloween fics and hope to have most of them done before next week. Well, that's my story and I'm sticking to it.
Also doing some quilting, of course and finished off my last project and started a new one.
I only have two of the nine patterns, so I'm going to try and track down the ones I'm missing. I have the trigger fish (top middle) and the Achilles Tang (bottom right). I think I can flip the trigger fish for the clown trigger (bottom center), but the rest would be tricky. I can get the whole set for $32, which might be a bargain since I paid $16 for just two. We'll have to see.
Also been doing a mess of cooking this week, chicken and sour cream enchiladas, gorgonzola porkchops and last night I did rock Corish game hen in a pomegranate molasses and stuffed baked squash. Very yum. Tonight I'm going easy and doing fried chicken with mashed potatoes and what America's Test Kitchen is called the best biscuits ever. We will see. Tomorrow, the plan is to make fresh peach ice cream. We'll see what happens.
Hope the weekend has been sweet to everyone so far. Rock on!
