The Friday Five for 14 January 2022/Just wondering

These questions were written by archersangel and posted by anais_pf.

1. What is the first TV show you remember watching?

2. What is the first “grown up” TV show you watched?

3. What is the first TV show you watched from the start to finish when it aired live (i.e., not via reruns)?

4. What is the oldest TV show you’ve watched?

5. What is one TV show you will stop and watch if you come across it on TV, even though you've seen every episode at least 20 times?

1. Oh gosh, the TV was always on and I am sure that I caught more than I realize, but I think it was Captain Kangaroo and The Mickey Mouse Club (loved Spin and Marty). They are the ones I remember sitting and watching as a kid.

2. My mom was addicted to Westerns, so I can remember sitting through many episodes of Gunsmoke. Later, I got hooked into Star Trek and those goopey comedies (Petticoat Junction, Beverly Hillbillies, Andy Griffin, etc.)

3. Gosh, I can even remember… maybe Hogan’s Heroes?

4. Golly, that’s tough… um Topper (1953-55), I think, unless you count “Gunsmoke on the radio.

5 This one's easy, though. Star Trek the Original series. Every.single.time.
