Real life and not so much
How do they know? How do the cats always know when to get sick just before we leave? Titan is having tummy issues again, despite being on sensitive stomach formula. I'm going to try swapping it out for something else. One of the kittens (the runt) is have diarrhea issues, so I've starting him on some pumpkin supplements. They asked me about worms, but I see nothing in his stools (sorry- TMI). Anyhow, I'm trying to keep the cat house clean and have put out a box with the hopes that it might help. He's eating, playing and acting normally, so I'm thinking it might be that the adult food is too rich for him. Unfortunately, I can't isolate him. Hell, I can't even get close to him. Sigh...
Fred's traveling outfit is done. Despite all the work I did on his wig, I think I like him better without it. Sparky suggested a side lock of youth, but then his outfit is wrong.
I've never been this close to actually getting to Egypt before. Our last trip was cancelled ten days out because of the Arab Spring. I'm keeping good thoughts that we might actually get to go. Yesterday they were playing Rhapsody in Blue and I started crying because it reminded me of United Airlines (they've branded it too well), which we are flying to Frankfurt.
Question here for my fellow travelers - is Frankfurt as confusing as Barb says it is? She's suggesting I get a wheelchair, simply because it will make it easier to get to where we need to be. I'm not sure... so I turn to you. What do you think?
We sat down to plan the menu for next week and there are only five meals to go. We are out four nights, including the last three. I have to get serious about food usage and clearing out the vegetables and whatever else won't freeze. We are having a movie night with Barb and Jeff on Wednesday (Sunset Blvd - the movie) and then dinner out. Then we are going out with The Brittos to celebrate Irene's birthday. Saturday we are having dinner with Jeff at his house and then on Sunday, we are having either lunch or dinner with the Evans and going to the theatre to see "Oliver." We leave the next morning.
And to wrap this up, some random photos.
Fall has finally found us.

Jenny is laying claim to the fake Christmas tree box. She loves sitting, sleeping and eating on it.
