So, an update for the heck of it.

Still raining here. Even Stockton is finally starting to feel the effects of all this rain and is flooding. SCT is struggling with multiple leaks caused by the renovation folks. They pretty much destroyed the roof when they did the remodel. Sigh. Now SCT is struggling to get things around before they open their show next week.

As much as I love rain, even my nerves are being stretched to the limits now. The kittens outside have at least learned to take refuge in the big cathouse when it gets bad. I wonder if they miss their sibling. It's hard to say. The weather has been so miserable that we haven't been able to spend much time with them and I miss that. Thankfully, this is finally supposed to let up a bit next Friday. The report from the mountains is that they are 215% above average for this time normally. That's a lot of snow.

We are getting ready for our upcoming trip to Australia. Hard to believe it's a week from today. I feel like we haven't even gotten home from Egypt yet. Between Covid, the rain, and the holidays, it's been a blur. I'm trying to get excited about packing, but that hasn't really happened yet. At least with a cruise, I know what to pack and how. Mostly, it's been working on Fred's outfit (he's a GI bunny) and getting stuff together for The Boys.

Since nobody has gotten postcards, I'm not going to send them from Australia. When the Egypt ones arrived, pretend they are from Australia, too.

That's just from here. The days tumble by far too quickly and yet there's not much to show for my efforts. Must be retired...
