Sapphire adjusted her position on the stool. “Do you ever get lonely?”

Steel paused in his examination of the carpet bag. “Not as a rule.”

“Not even as the resident know-it-all?”

“Better that that being the Captain of the Ignorant.” Steel snapped the bag shut. “We need to get this back to
where it belongs.”

“Which is?”

“The London Zoo.”

“How do you know that?”

”This is a bag of holding.”

“A what?”

“It’s like a TARDIS. Bigger on the inside.” The bag writhed as if alive. “I’ve a feeling that the tiger is just about ready to go home.”
